The training objectives:
• Digital advisory services: delivery mechanisms and their impact on development
• Gender and digital advisory services
• Introduction to methods in impact evaluation
• Use of GIS and remote sensing in agriculture and for tracking socioeconomic and
adoption data
• Application of AI and machine learning in agriculture and development research,
impact evaluation, and tracking technology adoption
The workshop is ideal for researchers, development practitioners policy analysts and PhD students from the Global South. Participants will explore key delivery mechanisms and gender dimensions for digital advisory, impact evaluation methods, GIS and remote sensing in agriculture and socioeconomic data tracking, and applications of AI and machine learning in agriculture research, impact evaluation and technology adoption.
